Product Overview

Where Flexibility Wins

Rigid profiles crack where buildings move — flexible skirting absorbs it.

Renovations

Old walls that are not straight.

Curved Areas

Columns, radii and wave walls.

Movement Joints

Zones with expansion movement.

Three decisions before you order

Flexible skirting is cheap per metre and expensive to re-order: the colour batch changes and the wall height does not. Settle these three first.

01 Measure the wall, not the floor

The height is chosen by what runs along the wall, not by the floor area. 80 mm suits offices and retail where protection is light; 100 mm is the commercial default for corridors and patient rooms; 120 mm where trolleys and cleaning machines travel against the base.

02 Pick wall thickness by impact, not by price

1.8 mm holds up in light-traffic corridors. 2.0 mm is the choice for hospitals and schools, where beds, carts and cleaning equipment strike the base every day. The difference is felt within the first year, not at delivery.

03 Count rolls before the floor is laid

Each roll is 50 m and each carton holds 2 rolls. Measure the perimeter, deduct door openings, then round up per room rather than for the whole floor — a cut roll cannot be joined invisibly. Order every roll in one batch: the same colour code from a second production run will read as a different shade along the corridor.

Where the warranty starts and stops

The material answers for what was delivered; the adhesive and the substrate answer for where it was fixed. Both halves are written here so that nothing is argued after handover.

FAQ

Why choose flexible over rigid skirting?

It follows uneven surfaces and absorbs building movement without cracking — ideal for renovation projects.

Can it be used with coving?

Yes, with a cove-bottom profile the floor sheet curves up and meets the skirting seamlessly.

Is installation difficult?

No — peel and stick (self-adhesive) or acrylic adhesive, mitre corners at 45°.

What skirting height should I choose?

Our JH series covers 80 mm, 100 mm and 120 mm. 100 mm is the commercial default; 120 mm gives extra wall protection or hides uneven wall finishes, while 60–80 mm suits low-profile interiors. Tell us your project height and we will confirm availability.
