PVC capping strip is used to finish the top of a resilient floorcovering where it has been coved up the wall. Works in conjunction with a PVC cove former to create a clean, sealed, professional transition between floor and wall surfaces.

Made from high-grade soft PVC, the strip provides excellent flexibility without compromising strength. Easy to install along curved walls and corners, offering a tight and secure fit. Ideal for hospitals, schools, cleanrooms, and food preparation areas.

Installation Guide

1. Surface Preparation

Wall surfaces must be sound, smooth, dry, and free from contaminants. Remove old coverings, linings, adhesive residues, paint films, and mold.

2. Mark Position

Mark the position of the top of the capping seal on the wall using a chalk line. Ensure the line is level along the entire run.

3. Apply Adhesive

Apply acrylic contact adhesive to both the wall and the back of the capping strip. Allow the adhesive to become touch dry before positioning.

4. Fix & Finish

Bring both surfaces together and apply even pressure. Remove air bubbles. Internal corners: miter cut. External corners: miter cut or wrap around.
