Product Overview

Both UNITECH NEXUS families are commercial vinyl sheet flooring, but they are built differently. Homogeneous vinyl is a single layer with colour through the full thickness — the design cannot wear off. Heterogeneous vinyl has a printed decor under a transparent wear layer, allowing more design freedom at lower cost.

The choice depends on traffic, hygiene, design budget and the expected service life.

Key Features

  • Homogeneous: colour through full thickness
  • Heterogeneous: printed decor + clear wear layer
  • Homogeneous: longer service life in heavy traffic
  • Heterogeneous: more decors, lower cost
  • Both: weldable, hygienic, R9-R10
  • Both: BS 476 Class 1 / Bfl-s1

FAQ

Which lasts longer?

Homogeneous — the wear layer is the full thickness, typically 15-25 years vs 10-15 for heterogeneous.

Which is cheaper?

Heterogeneous. The printed decor keeps manufacturing cost lower.

Can both be welded?

Yes — both accept hot-air welding with PVC rods for hygienic seams.

Four details get you a quoted price

  • Specification — product line, thickness, roll or plank size, colour reference
  • Quantity — total square metres, and whether it ships in one lot or in phases
  • Destination — port or city, so we can quote FOB or CIF
  • Delivery window — the date the material has to be on site

Send these four by email or WhatsApp and we reply with a technical data sheet and a firm price. With fewer details we can only quote a range.
